AirTube Technologies offer a range of pneumatic tube systems designed and manufactured to suit your every need. Typical systems comprise of send and receive stations, tubing, a blower, a control panel and system carriers. Operation of the system is designed to be as simple as possible and requires the operator only to check the system is free to use before inserting the carrier into the station and pressing the push button, transaction of carriers can be either one or two way.
System Types available are:
CT1 – for one way transactions between two points
CT2 – as the CT1 but having the capability to return carriers
Tube diameters are available to suit individual operational space requirments and are generally within the following: 63mm, 90mm, 110mm and 160mm.
Other sizes are available upon request, the tube system can be run overhead or underground to suit your requirements. It is even possible to run the system outside of the building to link adjacent buildings.
Semi and Fully Automatic systems are also available, these include the Cashtronic.
Air Tube Systems can easily be installed into existing operational environments.
CT1
The CT1 is a one-way air tube system, mainly used for cash collection. It can be used in a wide range of situations. This system can be used for a wide range of situations where a return communication is not required, such as collecting samples from a production line or sending to a quality control laboratory. It is also very useful within a retail environment to send carriers directly into a safe.
There are many forms of CT1 depending upon the application.
Different station types are available to suit your requirements and include - Cabinet stations, sized to suit carrier size and containment. - Sleeve stations, where space is restricted and only single carrier storage is required. - Open ended stations. |

Various underfed stations and service poles, housing and electrical conduits are also available.
CT2
The CT2 system is a reversible point to point air tube system. Available in all popular tube sizes the CT2 is the most versatile, cost effective tube system for a wide range of applications.
The length of the system is only limited by the power of the drive unit. It is practical to have a system as short as a few metres or several kilometres, typically with loads up to 5 kilograms.
The maximum weight that can be transported relates to the drive unit size and the carrier design. Running time is set to suit system transaction time. The running time is commenced by the push of a button at the sending station. The CT2 also has the facility to fit local or remote alarms at the receive point to indicate a carrier arrival.
Cashtronic System

MTM System

The system can be designed to suit a customers specific requirements. |  |
This system can send and receive carriers to or from any suitable stations. Its prime use is a simple semi-automatic system for small buildings where traffic does not justify a fully automatic system or where a string of stations in a retail environment require two way single phase transactions.
Available as standard in 90, 110 and 160mm tube sizes.
It is a single zone, two way system that can be arranged as a single line or with random diverters.
The stations are generally all “send and receive” type although they can be tailored to suit specific requirements such as “send only” and “receive only” stations.
This system enables a large number of locations to be physically connected by a network of tubes allowing samples, small parts or documents to be efficiently transported between location. A send/receive station is fitted at each location and different types of station can be included on the same system.
One of the main features of the system is the ability to simultaneously control multiple zones. Each zone is a self-contained system in which carriers can move independently, but can also communicate with other zones.
To determine the scope of a project, it is important to carry out an analysis of the potential traffic throughout a 24hr period. This allows Air Tube engineers to specify the most suitable tube layout. Due to the flexible system software and the modular equipment design it is possible to add further stations to the system as your requirements change over time, for example an increase in the number of buildings or departments.
